ARCHITECTS
is a statement of equality, not difference
These architects are powerful in their own right
They just happen to be women

ARCHITECTS • LFA DIGITAL 2020

Architects began in 2012 with an aim to highlight the centrality of roles performed by a cross section of female practitioners within the architectural profession. The portraits hint at the further diversity of their roles as orchestrators of extraordinary architectural projects, and it is this richness which we believe deserves celebration, and by elevating their visibility and position within the industry, we can experience equality in pursuit of quality.

The project continues to develop through side projects, exhibitions & publications and has now been revised for LFA 2020 to include personal texts by each architect which touch upon their professional journey since the portraits were taken.
