This portrait of Paloma Strelitz was taken at Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art shortly before its opening in 2018. Assemble were commissioned by Goldsmiths, University of London, to create a new public art gallery within the Grade II listed former Victorian bathhouse at Laurie Grove, New Cross. Paloma led the project, alongside Adam Willis, from conception to completion.
Almost two years on GCCA has established itself a major cultural centre for London. Under Sarah McCrory’s directorship it offers a diverse programme focused on exhibitions, events and education and has evolved into a significant space for creative production, exploration and engagement.
Paloma is currently a Loeb Fellow at Harvard.
